French Polynesia

Tahiti is actually just one of the many islands in French Polynesia.  It's the largest and most populated, and the only one with a major airstrip (capable of landing a 747).  There are about 5 larger islands with hotels and small airstrips, and then dozens of other more remote islands that you can only access by water.  Many of these do not have hotels on them.

During our trip, we went to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea.  I am dividing the pictures up based on where they were taken in order to make each page more manageable.
