AVP Videos

This page contains a list of AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Videos that I have available for reproduction. Copies of events are free, though I do charge a nominal amount for my time, the VHS tapes or recordable DVD media, postage, and handling. VHS format tapes are $20 (incl shipping via USPS Priority Mail), each additional tape is $15. DVDs generally run $10 for the first, $5 for each additional DVD in the same order. VHS tapes can hold up to 6 hours per tape, DVDs are recorded at varying length, usually 60-120 minutes per disc to retain optimal quality. Most DVDs will have one event, except for some of the shorter events or 30 minute DiG episodes.
Keep in mind that most of the older original recordings (from 2001 and earlier) were recorded in 6 hour mode, so some are a little bit grainy. And the tapes from the early 1990s are over 10 years old and were been dubbed quite a few times since originally recorded. I re-mastered everything to DVD in 2002/2003 and now use these DVDs for duplication, so fortunately there is no further degradation due to aging. The quality is actually very good, even for the older events, but it is not going to look like a brand-new digital recording (for obvious reasons) I have not had a single complaint in regard to the quality, and I still enjoy watching these events from time to time. And actually, the grainy-ness of these recording adds to the "nostalgia" factor, IMO.
